Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Azure DevOps managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with Azure networking and zero trust methodologies
  • Experience primarily working in a live services support environment
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
  • Experience in provisioning and managing cloud resources
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments
  • Ability to implement security best practices and align infrastructure with compliance frameworks such as the Azure Security Benchmark, CIS benchmark, NIST, NCSC
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience developing using JavaScript
  • Experience developing using C#

Responsibilities

  • Deploying, monitoring, maintaining and improving our Azure platform
  • Providing timely and efficient break-fix support to resolve system issues and minimise downtime in line with Service Level Agreements including out-of-hours
  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and capacity, perform infrastructure as code optimisation to ensure cost efficiency and reliable service
  • Providing 3rd line support for live Azure Platform services, addressing complex issues and coordinating with internal teams to maintain service uptime
  • Delivering and supporting the customers’ infrastructure requirements for service enhancements and new projects
  • Leveraging deep expertise in Microsoft Azure’s IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings to design, implement, and managing cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical needs
  • Designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with design partners, enabling faster, more reliable software releases
  • Implementing best practices for version control, continuous integration, and code review processes
  • Using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or terraform to provision and manage Azure cloud resources
  • Implementing security best practices and align infrastructure with compliance frameworks such as the Azure Security Benchmark, CIS benchmark, NIST, NCSC
  • Configuring real-time monitoring and alerting within Azure to gain insights into application performance and system health
  • Fostering strong relationships with software development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices
