Requirements
- Extensive experience in Azure DevOps managing CI/CD pipelines
- Extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Azure networking and zero trust methodologies
- Experience primarily working in a live services support environment
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
- Experience in provisioning and managing cloud resources
- Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments
- Ability to implement security best practices and align infrastructure with compliance frameworks such as the Azure Security Benchmark, CIS benchmark, NIST, NCSC
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Experience developing using JavaScript
- Experience developing using C#
Responsibilities
- Deploying, monitoring, maintaining and improving our Azure platform
- Providing timely and efficient break-fix support to resolve system issues and minimise downtime in line with Service Level Agreements including out-of-hours
- Monitoring system performance, availability, and capacity, perform infrastructure as code optimisation to ensure cost efficiency and reliable service
- Providing 3rd line support for live Azure Platform services, addressing complex issues and coordinating with internal teams to maintain service uptime
- Delivering and supporting the customers’ infrastructure requirements for service enhancements and new projects
- Leveraging deep expertise in Microsoft Azure’s IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings to design, implement, and managing cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical needs
- Designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with design partners, enabling faster, more reliable software releases
- Implementing best practices for version control, continuous integration, and code review processes
- Using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or terraform to provision and manage Azure cloud resources
- Implementing security best practices and align infrastructure with compliance frameworks such as the Azure Security Benchmark, CIS benchmark, NIST, NCSC
- Configuring real-time monitoring and alerting within Azure to gain insights into application performance and system health
- Fostering strong relationships with software development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices
