Job Details

Experience: 5–8 years

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
5–8 years of experience in land development, industrial construction, or data center infrastructure
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficiency in Revit or similar BIM software
Strong understanding of hydrology
Strong understanding of soil mechanics
Strong understanding of reinforced concrete design

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of site development projects
Develop detailed site layouts, including grading plans, drainage systems, utility routing, and structural foundations
Conduct site assessments, geotechnical reviews, and environmental impact studies to determine project viability
Navigate local zoning laws and building codes; manage the permitting process with municipal and state agencies
Create and maintain project schedules and budgets; manage sub-contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality execution
Design or review structural calculations for specialized equipment housing (e.g., pads for cooling units, heavy electrical infrastructure)
Perform regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with engineering specifications and safety standards
