Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience at a company that produces software for end users
- Professional experience writing application code in backend languages (Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, Node.js, etc.)
- Professional experience with relational databases (SQL queries, table/index design, system tuning)
- Able and motivated to design complex technical systems
- Ability to write technical design documentation and implement design
- Strong desire to build skills of others through code review and mentorship
- Significant technical skills solving real-world problems or the drive to quickly develop them
- Interest in learning new development languages and platforms
- Highly-motivated self-starter
- Engaged learner eager to expand skills and find solutions to challenging problems
- Excited to pitch in where ever needed, from helping in recruiting to supporting customers
Responsibilities
- Contribute to delivering exceptional software for public affairs professionals
- Utilize a full-stack approach using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, and more
- Design and implement advanced AI solutions to enhance products and empower users
- Leverage artificial intelligence to improve user experiences, meet client needs, and deliver cutting-edge tools
- Ship new code to production
- Write code at several levels of the stack, from infrastructure to the API to the UI
- Take ownership of an entire set of features and make decisions that impact many clients
- Help guide the team in making broad technical decisions impacting the stack, products, and company growth
