Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Genuine passion for building internal platforms that treat the developer experience as a first-class product
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
- Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, Tailwind.css, Next.js, and Remix
- Solid grasp of Docker and Kubernetes
- Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and integrating third-party APIs
- Experience architecting and productionizing safe, observable, self-service agentic AI solutions for developer workflows
- Deep understanding of monorepo management, including design and architectural patterns
- Ability to navigate the trade-offs between Developer Experience (DX) and platform-native technologies
- Proven track record of implementing safe deployment patterns (e.g., canary, blue/green) and automated rollback capabilities
- Committed to establishing "paved paths" and self-service capabilities for code bundling, building, and deployment
- Effectively connect the dots across multiple engineering teams and collaborate with senior leaders
- Committed to cultivating an inclusive team culture and mentoring other engineers
- Stay curious and open to growth, actively building fluency in emerging technologies like AI
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering innovation across the entire company
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Spearhead research initiatives to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Guide the approach and execution of a particular team or group of teams
- Dig deep into arbitrarily complex and critical problems and find an appropriate path forward until resolution
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements to architect, design and deliver high-quality solutions
- Conduct thorough architectural reviews to help guide and shape Webflow’s technology stack
- Be a model for engineering innovation in the industry working with partners, customers, and investors
- Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
