Requirements
- Based in GMT/CET or North America East time zone
- Proven experience of full stack development
- Experience with Python
- Experience with FastAPI
- Experience with React
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with Postgres DB
- Experience with data pipelines
- Recent experience working in a build it, run it environment (GCP, cloud run, grafana, k8s)
- Experience working in a high growth scaleup environment across distributed, remote teams
- Deeply committed to tackling the climate crisis
- Possess a product mindset
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable and resilient systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Committed to ongoing education, perpetual learning, mentorship
Responsibilities
- Build new capabilities and features that enable utility companies to more effectively manage risks associated with climate change, wildfires and storms
- Partner with product, design and tech leads on key initiatives
- Mentor other engineers from time to time
- Contribute to performance and scalability, ensuring the product can handle 3x year-over-year growth
- Accelerate time to value of new product capabilities
- Reduce the amount of manual work required to ingest vegetation analysis into customer facing applications
