Requirements

  • Maintain independent professional standing.
  • Responsible for personal state medical/dental licenses.
  • Responsible for DEA registrations.
  • Responsible for individual compliance and board certification fees.
  • Responsible for baseline home-office technology setup.
  • HIPAA-compliant workspace.
  • Reliable, hardwired high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps).
  • Proficiency with dual-monitor setups and enterprise video conferencing tools.
  • Exceptional digital communication skills with the ability to build immediate patient rapport on camera.
  • Active state medical license(s) (for Medical Providers).
  • Board Certification/Eligibility (for Medical Providers).
  • Active DEA registration (for Medical Providers).
  • Multi-state licensure (IMLC) highly preferred (for Medical Providers).
  • Current RN, APRN, or PA-C licensure (for Advanced Practice Providers).
  • Master’s degree required for Advanced Practice roles.
  • Active state dental or registered dental hygiene license (for Dental Professionals).
  • Familiarity with CDT coding (for Dental Professionals).
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and active state optometry licensure (for Vision Care Professionals).
  • Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent independent licensure (for Behavioral & Mental Health Specialists).
  • Valid state licensure or recognized national certification (e.g., Registered Dietitian, Certified Health Coach) (for Holistic & Integrative Practitioners).
  • Active enrollment in an accredited medical, nursing, or allied health program (for Clinical Trainees & Medical Students).
  • Current HIPAA certification (for Clinical Trainees & Medical Students).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based care via synchronous (live video) and asynchronous (store-and-forward) telemedicine channels.
  • Provide thorough patient education on preventative care, wellness optimization, and chronic disease management.
  • Conduct detailed pre-operative remote clearances and manage longitudinal post-operative care.
  • Actively participate in cross-specialty referrals (e.g., Medical providers referring to Teledentistry or Behavioral Health specialists).
  • Adhere to all state-specific telehealth regulations and GoTo Telemed’s high standards of care.
