Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for web application testing
- Solid understanding of HTML
- Solid understanding of CSS
- Solid understanding of JavaScript
- Familiarity with Shopify themes
- Familiarity with Shopify sections
- Familiarity with basic Liquid
- Highly comfortable using browser DevTools to diagnose front-end issues
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly and concisely (English Communication)
- Ownership Mindset: you don’t just report bugs; you help drive them to resolution
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, "Async-First" environment
Responsibilities
- Monitor public websites and proactively validate that all pages and flows are working
- Write and maintain Cypress smoke tests for critical user flows to ensure stability
- Use browser DevTools to investigate broken buttons, pages, or flows and identify root causes
- Assist with Shopify page updates, including sections, layout changes, and full page builds
- Validate monitoring alerts and work to reduce false positives
- Rigorously test changes both before and after they go live
- Clearly communicate issue impact and resolution status to the team
