Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience leading internally-facing Platform services in the IAM space at a multi-product company
- Technical fluency and comfort engaging in large-scale architectural decisions with engineering
- Experience building IAM services for identities spanning multiple products
- Experience with complex authentication/authorization (Authn/Authz) experiences, including SSO and various auth methods
- Experience with multiple client types, including desktop applications, web apps, and developer tools
- Strong data skills and experience working with, or building/implementing, product telemetry platforms
- Understanding of privacy considerations related to telemetry platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to communicate the impacts of platform teams
- Ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders, gather context, and synthesize quickly
- A bias toward action, prioritizing highest risk initiatives
- Ability to synthesize context into a cohesive vision and lead others
- Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, or related authentication and authorization protocols (bonus)
- Experience in cybersecurity, secrets management, or compliance (bonus)
Responsibilities
- Embed within Identity, Authentication, and Authorization platform teams to deliver fundamental tools and services.
- Foresee IAM platform needs ahead of time and set a vision for identity and access management across products and clients.
- Prioritize platform initiatives to hit important company milestones.
- Be an active listener across the product organization to understand future platform needs.
- Work across multiple Platform teams in identity and access management.
- Collaborate with engineering and design stakeholders to translate needs into forward-thinking roadmaps.
- Own the product lifecycle from roadmapping, ideation, and discovery through to launch and internal adoption.
- Accelerate the pace of shipping by breaking projects into clearly defined milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics and ensure connection to business outcomes.
- Be the spokesperson to share and celebrate team successes.
