Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Database / Data Warehouse).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and related cloud-native components.
- Experience building and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines for large, complex datasets using on-premises and/or cloud-based platforms.
- Solid experience in data modelling, data management, and data warehousing environments.
- Proficiency in data profiling, data quality assessment, data cleansing, and data transformation techniques.
- Practical experience implementing Data Governance capabilities (data cataloging, lineage, privacy, and security), preferably using Microsoft Purview.
- Hands-on experience developing BI solutions and dashboards using Power BI.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and ALM tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess the quality of consolidated and standardized data stored in the Azure Data Lake, recommend improvements, and implement data quality strategies.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to define data quality requirements and implement corrective solutions.
- Optimize end-to-end data flow and data pipelines, covering extraction, transformation, data quality, and performance improvements.
- Work in partnership with the client’s data and IT teams to refine and enhance data models.
- Implement foundational Data Governance capabilities, including cataloging, lineage, privacy, and security using Microsoft Purview.
- Develop automation and CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, scalable, and reliable operation of data and analytics platforms.
- Work closely with the project team and offshore project manager.
- Attend daily stand-up calls and provide daily status reporting to the client.
- Attend fortnightly governance calls with the client.
- Follow SDLC processes and maintain all required project documentation.
