Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale programmes
- Experience in public sector (ideally)
- Strong understanding of GDS standards and service design principles
- Experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in process modelling and analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and compliance frameworks (desirable)
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar (desirable)
- Previous experience in government or large enterprise transformation programmes (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and prioritise business requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable specifications.
- Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Document workflows and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to GDS principles, accessibility standards, and government frameworks.
- Support service assessments and contribute to meeting compliance requirements.
- Work alongside product owners, architects, and developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Assist in backlog refinement and prioritisation activities.
- Identify and recommend improvements to BA practices and tools.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in business analysis and public sector delivery.
