Requirements

A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
HCPC registration
RCSLT membership
Proven experience working with adults in a community setting
Competency in dysphagia assessment and management
Strong clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work autonomously
Experience in communication disorders management (desirable)

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of adult patients within the community setting
Assess, diagnose and treat adults with speech, language and communication needs
Independently assess and manage patients with dysphagia
Deliver therapy via a combination of face-to-face and telehealth appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centred care
