Job Details

5+ years of experience in testing complex web, mobile, and API-based applications
2+ years of experience acting as a sole QA leading a project
Ability to build a testing strategy from a blank slate
Manual testing skills to find bugs
Strong understanding of user experience
Strong understanding of client-server architecture
Strong understanding of modern engineering stacks
Ability to use DevTools and API clients (like Postman) to perform deep technical audits
Practical understanding of how manual testing fits into a modern CI/CD pipeline
Ability to collaborate on release cycles
Proficiency at maintaining test documentation
Proficiency at communicating test results to key stakeholders
A mindset for risk-based testing
Ability to clearly articulate technical risks and quality tradeoffs
Proactive personality who learns quickly while working independently
Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English

Define and evolve the end-to-end QA strategy and processes for entire products
Determine the most effective manual techniques to ensure "world-class" standards of quality
Plan and perform exploratory and manual testing for complex features, going beyond specifications
Be the champion and source-of-truth for quality, helping identify systematic quality gaps
Build processes to close quality gaps and evangelize "quality at the source"
Own the documentation and reporting of quality metrics and bug tracking
Partner with PMs and TPMs to define acceptance criteria and manage release approvals
Lead cross-functional investigations into complex quality issues, driving them through to resolution
