Requirements
- 6–10 years of SAP functional experience
- Minimum 4+ years in SAP TM
- Strong understanding of SAP TM 9.5 or S/4HANA Embedded TM
- Expertise in Order Management (Freight Units/Freight Orders)
- Expertise in Planning & Execution
- Expertise in Charge Calculation & Settlement
- Expertise in Tracking and Event Management
- Experience in Freight Settlement & Integration with SAP FI
- Good knowledge of Master Data relevant to TM (e.g., Business Partners, Locations, Transportation Lanes)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with global teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, or related field
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP TM implementations (Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, Support)
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP TM functional specifications
- Configure SAP TM processes including transportation planning (manual & optimizer-based)
- Configure SAP TM processes including carrier selection and freight tendering
- Configure SAP TM processes including freight orders and freight bookings
- Configure SAP TM processes including charge management, freight settlement, and invoice verification
- Collaborate with stakeholders from logistics, supply chain, and IT departments
- Work on integration aspects between SAP TM and ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, GTS, or third-party systems
- Conduct functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support UAT
- Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvements
- Prepare training materials and conduct user training
