Experience: 3+ years

Requirements

3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Working towards your Canadian CPA Designation
Self-motivated, collaboratively focused
A willingness to constantly learn
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong technical accounting skills and understanding
Tech Savvy
Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset
Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset
Experience in Canadian sales tax (GST,HST,PST etc.) is an asset

Responsibilities

Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
Pushing bank feeds
Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Processing monthly/quarterly GST/PST/Payroll remittances
Supporting senior accounting technicians with full cycle bookkeeping tasks
