A/R Specialist - Intern

In college or graduate program majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business Management. Intermediate Spreadsheet Manipulation (Microsoft Excel) including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic conditional formatting. ERP & Financial System Aptitude to navigate complex database interfaces and learn quickly. Application of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Financial Data Accuracy with near-zero error rates. Professional Business Communication skills via email and phone. Analytical Problem Solving for reconciliation logic. Understanding of Accounting Fundamentals, including Debits and Credits.

Execute daily cash posting activities by accurately applying incoming payments to customer accounts within the ERP system. Perform weekly and monthly account reconciliations to identify discrepancies. Act as a liaison between Finance and internal departments to investigate billing disputes. Manage the Accounts Receivable shared inbox and support phone line, responding to external client questions. Ad hoc projects as seen fit within the billing operations group.
