Software Engineer, Cloud Growth

Hands-on experience developing software systems or services through coursework, internships, personal projects, or early professional roles, preferably in cloud environments. Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Go, Java/Scala, Python, or similar. Passion for building scalable, distributed systems and eagerness to deepen knowledge in this area. Understanding of (or interest in) concurrency programming and how systems operate at scale. Interest in databases and storage technologies like Postgres, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, or similar systems. A breadth-focused mindset—able to integrate various systems to create robust, seamless experiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for working in small, supportive teams. Enthusiasm for learning in a DevOps environment, including deploying and maintaining systems in production.

Design, build, and maintain mission-critical systems that power Temporal's customer acquisition funnel and revenue operations infrastructure. Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, and Sales teams to understand business requirements and transform them into scalable engineering solutions. Design, develop, and scale Cloud Nexus, a primitive enabling multi-cloud connectivity. Develop, test, and maintain code for distributed data systems to safeguard the critical metering pipeline. Identify opportunities to streamline customer experiences through automation, better tooling, and system enhancements.
