Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience at a mortgage servicing company within an escrow function or a tax service provider.
- Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae servicing experience preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking and logical reasoning abilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and handle change management in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to collaborate and communicate in regularly held in-person meetings.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and problem-solve in day-to-day operations for the servicing business.
- Analyze escrow sufficiency for required payments.
- Oversee fund movement for timely tax payments.
- Ensure timely procurement and accurate processing of property tax refunds.
- Execute tax payments by installment due dates to avoid penalties.
- Monitor and drive resolution for delinquent taxes.
- Review control reports for compliance with guidelines.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and manage escalations.
- Set up new taxpayees or make changes as requested.
- Complete audits for monthly vendor scorecards.
- Adhere to SLA standards/deadlines.
- Communicate with tax authorities, tile companies, and homeowners.
- Lead other escrow responsibilities and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
