Backend Developer (Remote from Spain)

6+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on distributed systems. Proven ability to design, implement, and operate scalable and resilient backend architectures. Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Node.js, or Golang, with a solid understanding of clean code principles. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, and common protocols. Self-driven and autonomous working style, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Passion for robust system design, performance optimization, and technical excellence. Experience with microservices architectures and production-grade backend environments.

Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services for network data discovery, processing, and analysis. Contribute to architectural redesign of a core discovery system, including parallel-processing and scalability. Lead and support migration of backend services to Docker and Kubernetes. Define and implement deployment, scaling, and reliability strategies for production systems. Write high-quality backend code in Node.js and TypeScript, with opportunities in Go. Collaborate with backend, frontend, and network engineers. Improve system performance, observability, and resilience. Integrate and maintain messaging, caching, and database components (RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL).
