Backend Developer (Remote from Romania)

6+ years of professional experience in backend engineering Strong focus on distributed systems Proven ability to design, implement, and operate scalable and resilient backend architectures Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Node.js, or Golang Solid understanding of clean code principles Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of networking fundamentals Self-driven and autonomous working style Passion for robust system design, performance optimization, and technical excellence Experience with microservices architectures and production-grade backend environments

Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services for network data discovery, processing, and analysis Contribute to the architectural redesign of a core discovery system Lead and support the migration of backend services to Docker and Kubernetes Define and implement deployment, scaling, and reliability strategies Write high-quality backend code in Node.js and TypeScript, with opportunities in Go Collaborate with backend, frontend, and network engineers Improve system performance, observability, and resilience Integrate and maintain messaging, caching, and database components (RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL)
