Software Development Manager (Remote from Romania)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of software development experience At least 2 years in a leadership or management role Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects Strong technical background with experience in Python, React, and relational and NoSQL databases Solid understanding of large-scale system design and big data architectures Experience working with agile development methodologies Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers Oversee software design, development, and implementation Prioritize development work and ensure timely, high-quality delivery Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and technical solutions Establish and maintain project timelines Enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks Identify risks and implement preventive solutions Drive a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
