Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary school Active (or ability to obtain) veterinary license in the state of practice Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance Candidates will be subject to a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
Responsibilities:
Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets Guide families in making end-of-life decisions for their pets Build relationships with local veterinary clinics Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate with Heartstrings’ medical leadership and support teams Participate in ongoing training, education, and clinical development
