Senior Regulatory Specialist

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 7 - 9 years of previous experience working in environmental consulting, A/E/C or relevant industry. Experience in building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of Government. Knowledge of and experience in Yukon’s, NWT’s, Nunavut’s and BC’s (and other jurisdictions) impact assessment and licensing regime for resource development projects. Ability to work effectively with team members as well as lead multi-disciplinary projects. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Provides direction for planning studies, environmental assessments, and permit applications. Leads the development of regulatory strategies. Collaborates with technical teams to improve project design and streamline regulatory processes. Develops integrated project schedules. Provides corporate technical support for environmental compliance, governance, and permitting. Interfaces and communicates with government, stakeholders, and communities. Represents Ensero Solutions and clients in meetings and oversees presentation preparation. Stays updated on legislation and regulation changes. Develops professional and business relationships. Supports proposal writing and explores business development opportunities. Conducts senior reviews of technical deliverables. Mentors and trains junior and intermediate team members.
