Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 7 - 9 years of previous experience working in environmental consulting, A/E/C or relevant industry. Experience in building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of Government. Knowledge of and experience in Yukon’s, NWT’s, Nunavut’s and BC’s (and other jurisdictions) impact assessment and licensing regime for resource development projects. Ability to work effectively with team members as well as lead multi-disciplinary projects. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for planning studies, environmental assessments, and permit applications. Lead the design and development of environmental and social impact assessment reports. Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary technical teams to improve project environmental design and streamline regulatory processes. Provide corporate technical support regarding environmental compliance, governance, and permitting. Interface and communicate with First Nations, government, stakeholders, and communities. Support engagement and consultation with First Nations. Represent Ensero Solutions and clients in regulatory and community meetings. Stay updated on legislation and regulation changes. Develop professional relationships and explore business development opportunities. Support writing and development of client proposals. Conduct senior reviews of technical deliverables. Support risk analysis with project management. Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team members.
