Chief Actuary, Remote

15+ years of relevant education + work experience as an actuarial leader in healthcare. Deep familiarity with government healthcare programs (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, ACA). Exceptional communication skills (oral, written) for complex actuarial concepts. Experience leading negotiations for multi-million dollar contracts. Strong record of collaboration at the executive level. Strong quantitative skills, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling. Deep experience with Excel, Tableau, and similar tools. Fellowship-Level Certification from the Society of Actuaries or similar credential. Experience leading actuarial or similar function at an 'at risk' organization (provider, payer, contractor).

Lead actuarial function including forecasting, reserving, and contracting. Manage and mentor the actuarial team. Partner with Strategy Payer Partnerships, Finance, Performance, Policy, Aledade+, and other Analytics teams. Lead forecasting efforts, including future years and within-year forecasts. Develop and lead reserving strategy and operations, including actuarial negotiations. Lead analytics to support contracting functions and advise on negotiations. Lead benchmarking and market intelligence functions. Create and lead the Medical Economics Unit. Promote a culture aligned with company values.
