Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field Minimum 5+ years experience in sales management with a proven track record of growing and sustaining sales revenue Prior experience in the design and/or sale of automotive electronic products Technical background in the electronics field Eight years of Outside Sales experience preferred SAP experience is highly desirable Excellent communication skills Interest and understanding of consumer, audio, or electronics Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment Ability to assimilate information quickly, efficiently, and accurately Ability to take initiative, while prioritizing and meeting deadlines Ability to demonstrate assertiveness Tenacious but professional approach Flexible with a high degree of determination and perseverance Excellent time management skills
Responsibilities:
Execute pursuit strategy for new business opportunities Identify and create new pursuits and drive early engagement Own RFI/RFQ response and commercial negotiations Create unique selling propositions and value statements Understand customer expectations and define internal targets Identify key stakeholders and develop strategies to win new business Meet budgets based on projected sales revenue goals Develop annual Business Plan including action plans Prospect for new business, prepare/present proposals, and maintain relationships Update projects/opportunities, manage accounts/contacts, follow up on leads Perform product demonstrations, seminars, presentations, and attend tradeshows Develop understanding of customer needs and competitor offerings Leverage market intelligence and forecasts to management Share best practices with fellow sales people Maintain high level of product and market knowledge Monthly reporting and updates of sales to Director of Sales Outline account management support, supply plan creation, price negotiations, quotation preparation Oversee program management of new business opportunities Consolidate projected sales forecasts and growth plans for management Work with Director of Sales and General Manager to establish annual sales goals Identify revenue programs and facilitate finance, legal, and sales practices Oversee client interactions to ensure cross training, customer satisfaction, and management involvement Lead cross-functional Sales reporting and communications
