Mental Health Therapist, Contractor - RI / Remote

Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, or Family and Child Counseling. Active associate or independent license in RI to deliver mental health care (LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD). Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing. Experience delivering care via telehealth. Strong technological skills and learning new systems (Zoom, GSuite, EHRs, collaboration tools). Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection (50 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload). Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to deliver care during peak hours (Mon-Fri 3-8 pm ET and Sat 8-5).

Provide mental health assessments and skills-based teletherapy to students. Collaborate with school counselors and other providers. Build trusted relationships with school staff and families. Provide psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers. Collaborate with Cartwheel MDs/NPs on treatment planning. Partner with the External Referrals team. Participate in case consultations. Help build Cartwheel’s clinical programming.
