Systems Administrator/Engineer (Cybersecurity Engineering)-12477-Remote

5+ years of working in a large enterprise with a change management focused environment 3+ years minimum experience as a System Admin, or similar role 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering related or similar role Experience with infrastructure management processes (change, problem, configuration, project management) Hands-on experience in Agile (Kanban workflow) Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot common Linux operating systems (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Cisco derivative OSs) Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot Windows server operating systems Experience patching and upgrading Linux and Windows based operating systems, packages, and applications Familiarization with cybersecurity principles for hardening enterprise systems Basic scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby) to automate routine tasks Experience using/integrating SIEM technology Experience with large enterprise processes and silo'd environments requiring detailed change management and control Strong knowledge of network, firewall, routing, switching, load balancing, and proxy principles and troubleshooting

Support deployment and maintenance of IT and IT Security tools and systems Upgrade Linux and Windows OS, packages, and apps Renew and update TLS certificates, manage KEX/MACS/CIPHERs on servers Respond to audit and enterprise hardening requests Update tasks and stories for work in progress Automate tasks using scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash, Powershell, Ruby) Troubleshoot Linux and Windows OS and applications Provide on-call and after-hours support Deploy and maintain COTS Cybersecurity applications and appliances Remediate vulnerabilities on Windows and Linux systems Monitor, maintain, patch, and administer systems for stability Contribute to and maintain internal engineering documentation Build/Optimize/Streamline new and existing processes with other teams Translate customer issues into technical solutions
