Comfortable in Science up to class XII level Fluent in Telugu language (speaking and writing) Native Telugu speaker Can manage a team of 5-6 people Keen eye for detail and do quality audits of localized content Studied and/or taught in a Telugu medium school (preferred) Experience in online teaching, video creation/Localization (preferred) Being tech-savvy and tech-curious (preferred) Proficiency in understanding the English language (preferred) Knowledge of various Computer Assisted Translation(CAT) Tools and Video Editing, making softwares (preferred)

Reviewing and Editing KA Science Telugu content and/or creating and localizing new content (videos & text) Collect on-ground feedback on content by interacting with state teachers Managing a team of 5-6 localization experts Going through Telugu Science textbooks to highlight any modifications needed before localisation Rewriting original material in the target language while retaining meaning Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find closest equivalents for terminology Researching on relevant phraseology to find the correct translation Proofreading and editing final translated versions Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation Adapting Khan Academy’s Style Guide for Telugu Developing glossary for specific terminologies and continuously update it
