Telehealth Physician

MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states Willingness and eligibility to obtain additional state medical licenses Eligible and willing to act as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners Willingness to participate in commercial and government payer networks and complete credentialing requirements Minimum 3+ years of post-residency clinical experience Comfort managing care across weight management, men’s health, and urgent care Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms Prior experience supervising or collaborating with NPs in a telehealth setting (preferred) Experience in obesity medicine, men’s health, or urgent care (preferred) Experience treating patients under commercial and government payer models (preferred) Additional state licenses or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) (preferred) Experience with asynchronous care models (preferred) Knowledge of telehealth compliance, prescribing regulations, and multi-state practice (preferred) Strong clinical judgment in a virtual care environment (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Provide care to patients covered by commercial and government payers. Enroll, credential, and re-credential with payer plans across multiple states. Provide high-quality telehealth services through synchronous and asynchronous encounters. Diagnose, treat, and manage patients across weight management, men's health, and urgent care service lines. Prescribe medications safely and appropriately. Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the EHR. Escalate care appropriately when in-person evaluation or emergency care is required. Serve as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners. Review NP charts, prescriptions, and clinical decisions. Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and case consultation to NPs. Maintain compliance with all applicable state-specific scope of practice, supervision, and telehealth regulations. Follow clinical protocols, evidence-based guidelines, and company policies. Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and clinical improvement initiatives. Stay current on telehealth best practices and regulatory changes.
