Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field 1+ years of teaching experience in math or college-level tutoring GPA of 3.5 or higher Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites Access to a reliable internet connection and a workspace Experience teaching at the college or community college level (ideal) Robust understanding of classroom pedagogy Mastery of SAT and ACT Math subjects: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics
Responsibilities:
Instruct small "core" groups of students in mathcore skills Track student progress through Vanguard's curriculum Model professionalism and organizational skills Spearhead development of lesson plans and curriculum Mentor middle and high school students
