Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Biology or Biological Sciences preferred. Five years of experience teaching an AP Biology course in high school or freshman-level Biology in college. Two years of experience writing assessment questions at the level of the AP Biology examination. AP Reader, AP Table Leader, or AP Consultant experience highly preferred. Research experience in the Biological Sciences is preferred. Extensive knowledge of the AP Biology curriculum concepts. Proven ability to write high-quality AP Biology questions and their short rationales. Acute attention to detail. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Outstanding problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while operating within a dynamic team environment. Aptitude for adapting quickly and collaborating effectively. Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively. Solid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills. Responsibilities:
Develops content for the online AP Question Bank within the Biology team. Writes high-quality, AP-style questions with brief, comprehensive rationales. Generates content that reflects existing curriculum standards, up-to-date research, and standardized examination practices. Adjusts content based on constructive feedback. Collaborates with management and team members to ensure production goals are met. Develops marketing materials and participates in online forums and webinars.
