Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner degree. Recent experience in obesity medicine. Licensed to practice and prescribe legally in FL. Preference for licenses in MA, IL, NY and/or TX. 2+ years of experience in outpatient or obesity medicine, endocrinology, bariatrics, or primary care/internal medicine. Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions. Commitment to high-quality medical care and evidence-based obesity management. Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity. Collaborate with physicians and registered dietitians to deliver team-based care. Conduct telemedicine visits with excellent "web-side" manner. Deliver evidence-based obesity treatment including lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy.
