Staff Backend Engineer

Proven experience building high-stakes infrastructure for trading, exchange, or financial systems. Strong intuition and expertise in systems design, distributed computing, and performance optimization. Demonstrable high ownership, self-starter mentality, and comfort working long hours on complex, time-sensitive problems. Experience with Node.js, Python, MongoDB, and AWS Serverless

Work directly alongside the CEO, COO, and founding engineers, driving core engineering strategy. Design and build robust backend systems for: Order Routing, Execution, Pricing Engines, Reconciliation and Settlement Optimize services for maximum performance, ensuring extreme latency targets, high throughput, and fault tolerance are met. Make critical architectural decisions that have immediate and direct production impact on a global-scale platform.
