Requirements
- 4-6 years’ overall engineering experience
- 2-3+ years leading projects and developers
- 5+ years of experience in a development role at a digital agency
- 3+ years of experience in CMS Development including Drupal, WordPress, Contentful
- Deep understanding of CMS platforms
- Headless CMS experience
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like React and Next.js
- In-depth knowledge of modern CMS architectural standards
- 2-3+ years’ experience with Agile methodology
- Experience working closely with project managers to plan sprints, flesh out tickets and organize releases
- Experience working with clients to turn business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience laying out technical documentation
- Experience with code reviews and continuous integration
- Experience with AI Coding assistants like Cursor, CoPilot or Devin.ai (may have)
- Strong command of Git processes and experience with Git Flow
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for project development teams
- Conduct code reviews
- Manage code releases and release cycles
- Contribute to feature development and bug crushing
- Ensure development teams remain unblocked and productive
- Work with project managers to translate client requests into requirements and development tickets
- Prepare tickets for the development team
- Estimate the level of effort required to complete development tickets
