Lead CMS Developer

4-6 years’ overall engineering experience 2-3+ years leading projects and developers 5+ years of experience in a development role at a digital agency 3+ years of experience in CMS Development including Drupal, WordPress, Contentful Deep understanding of CMS platforms Headless CMS experience Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like React and Next.js In-depth knowledge of modern CMS architectural standards 2-3+ years’ experience with Agile methodology Experience working closely with project managers to plan sprints, flesh out tickets and organize releases Experience working with clients to turn business requirements into technical specifications Experience laying out technical documentation Experience with code reviews and continuous integration Experience with AI Coding assistants like Cursor, CoPilot or Devin.ai (may have) Strong command of Git processes and experience with Git Flow

Serve as the primary escalation point for project development teams Conduct code reviews Manage code releases and release cycles Contribute to feature development and bug crushing Ensure development teams remain unblocked and productive Work with project managers to translate client requests into requirements and development tickets Prepare tickets for the development team Estimate the level of effort required to complete development tickets
