Senior Backend Software Engineer (Remote from Georgia)

Proven experience as a backend software engineer Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust, or similar Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, observability, and monitoring systems Experience delivering software from requirements gathering to production Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently Familiarity with alerting systems, Prometheus, or large-scale metrics evaluation is a plus Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and robust code

Design, build, operate, and maintain critical backend systems for alerting Drive projects from ideation through to production and operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of services Mentor and support other team members Contribute to design discussions and foster knowledge sharing Continuously learn new skills and optimize system performance
