Requirements:
8+ years of product management experience. 3+ years leading PMs and/or Designers. Proven experience at senior product leadership levels (Head of Product, Lead PM, Director of Product). Strong capability to bridge business objectives and technical execution. Experience in on-premises deployed software, open-source platforms, developer tooling, collaboration products, or high-security/regulated environments. Demonstrated success in building and scaling product teams and processes. Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities. High accountability, strategic clarity, strong prioritization instincts, and a bias toward action. Passion for open-source culture, secure communication, and empowering global teams. Experience with enterprise security, self-hosted deployments, or government-grade compliance (desirable). Experience scaling product for global customer bases (desirable).
Responsibilities:
Define and communicate product strategy aligned with company mission and growth. Translate company strategy into product roadmaps. Drive product prioritization based on market, customer needs, and feasibility. Ensure product portfolio supports growth and pricing discipline. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support. Serve as liaison between technical and commercial teams. Represent Product in executive discussions. Lead and develop Product Management and Product Design teams. Establish a high-performance culture. Implement product processes for velocity and quality. Oversee delivery of customer-facing features and platform capabilities. Ensure product requirements are clear, validated, and tied to outcomes. Champion UX excellence and design consistency. Partner with Engineering and PMO to remove blockers. Understand customer needs across regulated industries. Lead competitive analysis and trend identification. Engage with customers and community to validate assumptions. Define key product metrics and ensure team delivers against goals. Maintain product-level reporting on adoption, usage, and satisfaction. Drive a culture of evidence-based iteration.
