Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Infrastructure)

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 12+ years of related experience in software or platform engineering Experience building and scaling developer platforms or internal tooling Strong understanding of modern development practices (Git-based workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation) Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and config management (Terraform, Ansible) Hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with the GitHub toolchain (GitHub Actions, pull request workflows, GitHub-integrated CI/CD) Experience integrating deployment tooling with systems like FluxCD or other GitOps-based platforms Proficiency in programming languages (Ruby, Python, Go, Rust) Familiarity with a variety of database technologies (MySQL, Cassandra, Redis) Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (RDS, Aurora, Keyspaces, CloudSQL, BigTable) Familiarity with observability stacks (ELK, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Vector, Tempo, Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) Demonstrated ability to use metrics and feedback loops for continuous improvement Strong written and verbal communication skills

Lead and manage the Platform Engineering team Design, build, and evangelize Golden Paths and Service Scaffolding Identify and improve high-friction engineering workflows Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of Shared DB Platforms Lead multi-cloud platform design and optimization using Infrastructure-as-Code Oversee development and adoption of Observability Frameworks Lead development and implementation of platform Reliability Practices Define and track metrics for developer experience and platform health Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams Contribute to standardization and documentation of engineering practices
