Bahasa Melayu and English Audio Transcriber (Part-Time)

Malaysian citizen fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (particularly written language). Strong listening & comprehension skills, including accents, dialects, and background noise. Professional attitude: responsive and inquisitive to ask clarifying questions. Possess a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and reliability in spelling, labeling relevant tags (gender, age, emotion), and segmenting audio. Efficient time management skills to meet and exceed deliverables. A high level of focus and patience is required to complete tasks thoroughly. Prior experience with transcription tools or data annotation projects, especially in linguistics (bonus).

Deliver high-quality transcriptions of audio clips with minimal to no revisions. Precisely segment the spoken content in the audio clips into distinct components. Identify and label speakers to the different voices appropriately within the audio clips. Transcribe all audio content within each segment in their respective language(s). Proactively communicate challenges, queries, or concerns with Project Managers to ensure smooth operations. Meet key deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency in work output.
