Data Scientist II

Advanced education (PhD or Master’s) in a quantitative field 4-5 years of professional work experience or commensurate academic research Experience applying data science solutions Ability to communicate complex findings to non-Data Science stakeholders Advanced skills in Python Natural Language Processing experience Experience working in cloud computing (preferred AWS and Databricks) Experience with traditional statistics and ML approaches Familiarity with Deep Learning methods and libraries Experience with collaborative development (e.g. in GitHub) Experience extracting data from various sources and formats Knowledge of best practices in coding/scientific projects

Collaborate across teams to implement data science and machine learning solutions Communicate methods and findings with stakeholders Build machine learning models and deploy them as production services Extract and transform data reliably Explore novel data sets to improve predictive algorithms Build tooling for testing and performance tracking
