MDM Data Mapping Analyst (Sr Consultant Level)

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in data management, profiling, or analytics. Proficiency with SQL or equivalent database querying languages. Experience with data profiling tools such as SAP Information Steward. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of master data management, data governance practices, and both Waterfall and Agile frameworks. Ability to work independently, remotely, and productively under pressure.

Analyze, profile, and interpret large data sets using statistical and analytical techniques. Identify data quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to cleanse and validate data. Define, document, and implement data mapping, migration rules, and test cases. Collaborate with subject matter experts and business representatives to capture requirements and resolve data discrepancies. Execute SQL queries and use data profiling tools to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and transformation correctness. Create data scorecards and maintain documentation of data flows, mappings, and business processes. Act as a change agent to promote data as a strategic asset and drive best practices in data management.
