Requirements:
Several years of professional bookkeeping experience. Working experience of iPlicit or a similar mid-size cloud based accounting system (Sage Intaact, Netsuite). Good basic understanding of accounting concepts, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day workload reliably. Must operate as a self-employed contractor and invoice for services provided.
Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices and expenses, prepare payment runs, and maintain AP records. Generate sales invoices, monitor outstanding receivables, and follow up on overdue balances. Complete regular bank reconciliations. Maintain the fixed asset register and update depreciation schedules. Prepare and post monthly journals for prepayments and accruals. Ensure accurate coding and posting of financial transactions. Assist with month-end routines and support the finance function.
