Requirements
- Strong academic credentials and proven experience in general banking and finance matters ideally with exposure corporate clients.
- Commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges.
- Experience gained in leading law firms or high-quality in-house teams is advantageous.
- You must have the right to work and be eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on general lending transactions acting for both lenders and borrowers.
- Draft, negotiate, and review financing documentation including loan facility agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, ancillary documents, and corporate authority documents.
- Manage domestic and cross-border transactions and coordinate with external counsel.
- Liaise with key stakeholders within the business.
