Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7-10 QA analysts/testers. Manage workload allocation, backlog prioritisation, and capacity planning. Define and monitor QA performance metrics. Build a team culture centered on quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Own and evolve the QA strategy, methodologies, and standards. Review feature specifications, stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. Oversee the creation, review, and execution of test plans, estimations, and timelines. Ensure consistency, completeness, and quality of QA outputs. Drive a shift-left mindset. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test suites. Partner with the Release team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Identify opportunities for automation, test orchestration, and AI-led quality improvements. Champion continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a key liaison between Product Engineering, Support Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Release. Communicate test results, release readiness, risks, and mitigation plans. Ensure customer-reported issues feed back into test coverage and QA strategy. Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to refine release quality gates and standards.
