Requirements:
- 5+ years of financial accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills (SUMIFS, INDEX-MATCH, PivotTables).
- Proven experience in consolidations and reconciliations.
- Strong documentation and workpaper discipline.
- High standard of written and spoken English.
- Formal accounting qualification (CPA, IPA, CA, or equivalent).
- Experience in both public practice and in-house accounting roles (highly preferable).
- Exposure to Australian and US compliance requirements (highly preferable).
- Ecommerce, ERP, or inventory accounting experience (highly preferable).
- FX/multicurrency handling or strong willingness to learn (highly preferable).
- Commercial and charitable sector exposure (highly preferable).
- Audit preparation or forensic review experience (highly preferable).
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and restore historical ledgers and intercompany accounts.
- Standardise chart of accounts and ledger structures.
- Develop and maintain consistent workpapers and audit trails.
- Support CFO with forensic reviews and documentation.
- Perform month-end close and reconciliation cycles.
- Manage multi-entity consolidations and elimination entries.
- Maintain ERP and inventory accounting platforms.
- Prepare structured reporting for management and audit.
- Support finance frameworks for expansion into new jurisdictions.
