Requirements:
10+ years of backend development experience with a focus on the Microsoft stack Expert in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and SQL Server Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging/event streaming platforms Solid understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Experience working in consulting, professional services, or IT project delivery environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently and leading delivery within a remote setup
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable backend systems using .NET (preferably .NET 6 or later) Build and optimise event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB to manage distributed data sets Integrate with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Engage directly with clients and project leads to gather requirements, provide updates, and shape delivery strategy Operate as a trusted consultant—proactive, accountable, and capable of working with minimal supervision Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and system improvements
