Specialist, Accountant - Shared Financial Services

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Minimal experience in accounting and/or financial reporting acceptable with a related educational degree. Experience in excess of one year is helpful. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, including demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel. Experience in Salesforce and NetSuite is helpful. Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations strongly preferred.

Support chapters using SFS in accounting functions for accurate and timely processing. Commit donation batches to Salesforce and post to NetSuite. Review check requests for proper coding and approvals. Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. Record journal entries for monthly financial activity. Prepare financial reporting package including monthly variance report. Respond to inquiries from chapter staff regarding financial reporting. Assist with gathering information and documents for annual audit process. Assist with running custom reports and queries in NetSuite and Excel. Build and maintain relationships with chapters. Provide support for Support Team Staff. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
