Cyber Security Analyst - Remote within UK

A number of years of professional experience within a hands-on technical cyber security role, ideally starting in SOC and advancing to penetration testing Experience working with a SIEM platform or within a Security Operations environment Background in carrying out vulnerability scans and penetration tests of web applications and infrastructure Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills (dealing with C-Level and Director-level stakeholders) Proficiency in IT fundamentals (computer hardware/software, databases, networking, security, software development) Authoritative knowledge of information security concepts, domains, compliance, and standards Hands-on experience with Windows & Linux operating systems, security tools (IDS, firewalls, anti-malware, SIEM), public cloud environments

Operate and optimise security platforms (SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, vulnerability management) Document SOPs for incident identification and response Horizon scan for threats and suggest mitigation Build and maintain dashboards and reports for governance Manage bug bounty program Build a program to prove and improve cyber readiness Coordinate and conduct security audits and penetration tests Secure end user estate and corporate assets Manage vulnerability scans and prepare reports
