Senior Actuarial Analyst

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on the track to become one. 3+ years of experience in a related field. Strong knowledge of core health insurance concepts (bonus). Experience with actuarial applications (bonus). Highly technical with enthusiasm for tech-forward methods in actuarial models (bonus). Experience with provider contracts and reimbursement methodologies (bonus).

Develop models, tools, and conduct benchmarking analyses to measure provider contract and network performance. Analyze trends, focusing on unit cost and network improvement opportunities for financial planning. Collaborate interdepartmentally to build analytic reporting tools. Provide actuarial expertise to cross-functional teams for ACA individual markets. Advocate for and establish best practices in actuarial processes, emphasizing automation and documentation. Foster relationships and communicate with partners. Support the onboarding of new analysts. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
