Senior Attack Engineer - Vulnerability Research

Proficiency in large-scale Python software development. Strong understanding of secure software development practices. Experience with version control systems like Git. Experience reversing Java applications, C#, .NET, and native application binaries. Experience with reverse engineering technologies like IDA or Ghidra. In-depth knowledge of common Remote Code Execution (RCE) techniques. Strong understanding of network protocols. Experience with relational (Postgres) or graph (Neo4j) database systems. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (desired). Experience with vulnerability disclosure processes (desired). Published CVEs or experience with bug bounty and web app pentesting (desired). Experience with C, C++, Rust, or Assembly (desired). Familiarity with Nuclei and Metasploit (desired). Experience working in AWS and other cloud environments (desired). Knowledge of and experience with Docker, Kubernetes (desired).

Develop and maintain core parts of NodeZero's autonomous penetration testing platform. Weaponize newly discovered public vulnerabilities. Acquire and configure vulnerable test systems. Reverse engineer application binaries and patches. Develop and validate proof-of-concept exploits. Design and implement foundational technology improvements for exploitation modules. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product capabilities. Maintain a global view of emerging vulnerabilities.
