Senior Software Engineer (Cleared)

Active US Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance. 6-10 years of Software Development experience. Strong communication skills and interest in pair-programming. Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies. Experience with Java, Kotlin, Ruby or Elixir. Experience with Spring Boot, React.JS, Vue or Redux. Experience with both frontend and backend. Experience using container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and processes such as Git, Concourse, GitLabCI, SonarQube, Fortify, and ThreadFix. Demonstrated experience with API Development. Comfortable running software in Linux environments. Strong understanding of algorithms, databases, design patterns. Strong facilitation skills. BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Work with clients new to agile practices like design thinking, TDD, and paired programming. Teach the value of agile software development and adapt to client preferences. Learn client communication styles and feedback methods. Constantly learn and adapt approaches to collaborate effectively. Pair with customer developers to deliver user stories providing business value. Develop working software to ensure a reliable software solution. Ensure development is delivered week over week and gather real-time user feedback. Pair with military personnel and other developers to deliver value. Build and test software solutions, and teach through practices. Build software considering user needs, business objectives, and stakeholder vision.
